Child Speech Development

My 11yr old daughter, Brooke, has been wearing a SpeechEasy for the past 2 years.

The SpeechEasy Brooke has is so comfortable and not noticeable at all and sits in her ear like a hearing aid. She was nervous about wearing it the first day, she was afraid the kids would make fun of her but all the kids thought it was cool, and she could talk to anyone now. In just two weeks after being fitted for a SpeechEasy, she was confident enough to speak again, and she did just that. Brooke's life has changed and gotten better in every aspect - socially, academically and with great self-esteem!

Early Childhood Stuttering

Early childhood stuttering is an issue that affects both the child and the family. Very often parents, teachers, and caregivers know very little about early childhood stuttering and so they don't understand the problem, nor do they know what to do about it. Naturally parents only want the best for their children, therefore they tend to worry when their child exhibits incidents of early childhood stuttering, worry that the child won't be able to lead a life of fluency. There is help available to decrease and correct early childhood stuttering, after trying traditional speech therapy some parents explore the use of a SpeechEasy device.

Different Degrees Of Child Speech Development

Child speech development progresses in different degrees in every child. Many young children show signs of disruptions in their speech when they are learning to talk, but not all of those children are at risk for continuing to stutter. The majority of children who start stuttering are simply going through a phase of normal child speech development. Recent research shows that many children who show signs of early stuttering will recover within the first year or so after they start stuttering. Not all young children who stutter are destined to become adults who stutter. For those who continue stuttering, it has been shown that they can improve their speech and communication by receiving stuttering therapy from a qualified Speech Pathologist and with the help of a SpeechEasy anti stuttering device.

Our revolutionary fluency device can help get you closer to realizing the dream to stop stuttering. If you are interested in obtaining a SpeechEasy device, we will let you know what to expect with the answers to some frequently asked questions.
