 We took a sampling of the SpeechEasy community and came up with some very interesting statistics. Do you know the typical profile of a SpeechEasy user? Take a look!
  1. Average Age: 29

  2. 58% are 15-35 years of age

  3. 35% are 15-25 years of age

  4. 18% are 20-25 years of age

  5. One member of our SpeechEasy community is 92 years young!

  6. Most were born in 1986.

  7. Most clients were born in September (go figure!)

  8. February is the month where the least number of SpeechEasy users were born

  9. 65.2% have Completely in the Canal units (CIC)

  10. 32.6% have In the Canal units (ITC)

  11. 2.2% have Behind the Ear units (BTE)

  12. 57.6% have the device in their left ear

  13. 42.4% have the device in their right ear

  14. 77.2% have a Frequency Altered Feedback shift of 500+ (FAF)

  15. 54.2% have a Delayed Auditory Feedback (DAF) setting in the range of 60 to 90ms

  16. 75.1% have a DAF setting in the range of 60 to 120ms

  17. Most devices have been sold in California, Texas and North Carolina

  18. There have been more than 5000 SpeechEasy devices sold in the US to date.
