SpeechEasy Website Launches New Interactive Features
Back in the day when the internet was called the 'information super highway,' a website was really nothing more than a billboard on an LCD screen.
Today, technology is making it easier for us to interact and to get involved. Whole communities are formed via the internet, allowing for the creation of programs and the sharing of information that can literally change the world.
And now our SpeechEasy community can start utilizing the web to do just that: share information, meet new friends, form chat groups and help locate people who share the same goals and interests.
The SpeechEasy web page has been updated, making our presence on the internet much more extensive. It features a new header with contact information, as well as a highlighted button for 'Free Information Packages' for those interested in learning about SpeechEasy for the first time.
The site also now features a live chat that has been added for clients to Instant Message (IM) us during business hours, in the event that they prefer to not talk on the phone. The IM feature is in addition to our existing Discussion Board -- a great place to post questions and hear feedback from users and those interested in SpeechEasy.
We've also added an introductory page on 'Stuttering in Children.' Combined with our provider locator, which is a direct link to SLPs in any area worldwide, we hope to make it easier for parents to educate themselves about their therapeutic options for managing their family's fluency.
In 2007, we will be launching our new leasing and financing program. In the meantime, check out our information on financial assistance, which can be found under "How to Get a SpeechEasy Device." And remember, you can also call us directly if you need additional help.
And don't forget our Stuttering Stories page, which features "what our customers are saying." And one of our personal favorites: Tell Us Your Story. We LOVE to hear your personal stories - they are what inspire us the most.
