SpeechEasy Speech Language Pathologist Certification Program Improves Outcomes for SLPs and Patients.
We strongly recommend that any speech language pathologist who is interested in providing follow-up patient therapy for those fitted with SpeechEasy devices complete our Certification Program. This free, self-administered, online Certification program has been developed by SLPs who are ASHA recognized fluency specialists and have extensive clinical experience working with patients who are fitted with SpeechEasy devices.
Our online Certification program provides information that will give you a higher degree of confidence and success when working with these patients. It consists of two parts: 1) The course content and 2) an "open-book" multiple-choice test. Reviewing the course material and taking the exam should take about 3-4 hours to complete. Upon passing, you will receive official Certification from SpeechEasy.
Certified Speech Language Pathologists will also be put on the SLP referral list.
When patients in your area are fitted with a SpeechEasy device, and do not have an existing relationship with an SLP, we can refer them to you. After all, we know these patients would benefit from receiving follow-up therapy from a competent SLP who understands the therapeutic nuances related to improving fluency in those with SpeechEasy devices. This can be a source of new clients for you, as thousands of people are fitted with SpeechEasy devices each year.
